THE BEACHES
Aragusku Beach Maehama Beach
A beautiful long beach which is well suited for snorkeling.

This Beach with its gleaming white and clear sand, and emerald green waters is perfectly suited for multiple watersport activities. And swimming during the beautiful sunset is surely going to be an unforgettable memory.
Sawada Beach Painagama Beach
This beach on the island of Irabu is one of the 100 most beautiful beaches in Japan. During high tide the ocean retreats and reveals a fascinating landscape. On the westside of the beach you can have a look at the traditional art of fishing with nets (Nagaki) in Miyakojima. This beach is only five minutes walk away from the city centre and very popular with the local residents.
Toguchi Beach Sunayama Beach
This white sand beach on Irabu with its crystal clear water is also popular with local residents. This beach is about four kilometers from the Hirara city centre. It`s famous for its snow white sand and its unique cliff formations.  Thus Sunayama is equally popular with tourists and the people of Miyako.

Turibā Boragā Beach
A beach with a nice view at the island of Irabu. The Miyako Rock Festival is held here and a Hārī-dragonboat-race can be enjoyed in June. Since the construction of a pool which is filled with natural spring water was finished the beach`s popularity has improved very much. It`s a place where you can enjoy nature and replenish your power for day to day business.
